When you’re in the thick of the cold, icy winter, it feels like you’ll never get here … the warmth of April! Flowers are beginning to bloom. Mr. Sunshine is getting closer and warmer. The bees are waking up and getting busy. I am finally able to get my hands dirty in the gardens. And for days on end, like a child waiting for Christmas morning, I find myself constantly glancing out the windows for my first sight of that beautiful ruby throat at the feeder. But today I can finally say …. the long-awaited hummingbirds have finally arrived in my little corner of PA!
